step 1: discover
The first step we take in every engagment is participating in a series of "Discovery" sessions.
Discovery sessions are two-way, collaborative workshops designed to help us fully understand the goals of the project and provide a means for us to begin an open and honest dialog about what you want, and need, to make your project a success.
In these sesssions, we'll work with you to address issues such as the Project scope and business goals, the intended users of the product, and the technical and business constraints of the project.
"Discovery" is an intensive, highly dynamic information sharing process that begins with an objective look of where you are and where you want to go.
During the Discovery process, we'll conduct a number of user-research-related activities to help us define, analyze, and refine the product requirements. These activities include:
- Focus Group sessions and User Interviews
- Persona Workshops
- Contextual Inquiry / Observations
- Expert User Experience Evaluations
- Competitive Analyses
It is only after we gain this understanding that we can begin to design a solution to help get you there.
