Experts in the Engineering, Art, and Psychology of User Interface Design

step 2: design

After the bulk of the Discovery sessions are complete, we can get started with the Design phase.

Discover Design Develop Deliver

We approach all of our designs by following a flexible, iterative, user-centered approach. That means we use a number of different design and evaluation tools throughout the project, on an as-needed basis, to create the most appropriate solution.

Depending on the project, we deliver information hierarchies and screen flow diagrams, paper-based interface wireframes, and interactive prototypes that can be used to help us evaluate the solution to make sure that it not only works for your business, but also for your users.

Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3...

We've integrated user testing into almost every aspect of our design process - which is what it really takes for a company to be able to call themselves "user-centered." Depending on the needs of the project and where we are within the lifecycle, we conduct:

  • Expert Evaluations
  • Cognitive / Pluralistic Walkthroughs
  • Usability Walkthroughs
  • Formal Usability Tests

These procedures are designed to help you - and us - understand what changes need to be made to the interface designs before you invest the money needed to fully develop the application.

Once the user interfaces have been tested and refined, we can begin to develop the final interfaces that will be used in your product.
